It seems like only yesterday that I was reporting on the new season and here I am again. Time is flying.
Broadway in Boston starts in July with their World

Then they bring us Million Dollar Quartet July 28-August 18 at the Colonial.
This is a Tony award-winning musical about a famous recording session that brought together
Elvis Persley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis for the first and only time. It’s rollicking good time.

WE WILL ROCK YOU comes to the Opera House Nov 5-10
Straight from Lond’s West End the worldwide smash hit musical by Queen and Ben Elton comes to Boston for a limited engagement. Here are just some of the songs you know and love “Another One Bites the Dust,” “Crazy Little Thing Called Love and “WE are the Champions.” I’ll be there stomping my feel and chair dancing.

For the schmaltz, it’s A Christmas Story, the Musical November 20-Dec 8 at the Wang.

Then on to I LOVE LUCY, live on stage. The previews looked hokey .I t’s Dec 3-22 at the Colonial.

Once won 8, count them 8 Tony Awards including Best Musical and winner of the 2013 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theatre Album. Jan 7-19. This is an original and different musical worth checking out.

ON Feb 7-9 at the Boston Opera House another hit in London and Broadway, it’s Green Day’s AMERICAN IDIOT. It’s about 3 friends who are forced to follow their dream or the safety of the suburbs. Parents please pay attention, it contains explicit language so be aware.

MARCH 11-23 brings us FLASHDANCE THE MUSICAL. WE all know the story and can hardly wait to see the dancing. Flashdance what a Feeling, Gloria, and I Love Rock and Roll this play is chock full of great songs and dances.

How many times have you seen phantom? Well it’s time to go again as the Boston Opera House will be transformed into Cameron Mackintocs’s production of this new classical musical.
